1900 Victor Electric Iron Clad DC To AC 1/6 HP Converter. With The Introduction Of Alternating Current Such As This. Cities Were Supply DC Current At The Turn Of The Century And This Converter Was Necessary To Run Your Modern AC Current Appliance. This 120 Year Old Device Is In Amazing Original Condition. The Case Is Decorated In Hand Painted Gold Leaf Pinstripe. The End Bells Have Original Nickle Plated Finish. In Some Areas The Nickle Plate Has Started To Peel But Excellent Condition For It's Age. The Red Fiber Board Terminal Blocks Are In Superior Condition Considering Their Location And Age. A Beautiful Piece Of Electrical History.
