Very Rare 12" ELLIPSO Orbital Oscillating Fan made in Birmingham England.  This circa 1920 desk fan was manufactured by the ELLIPSO in England and has a very unique design for oscillating.  This design really reminds me of a traditional gearbox turned on its side and is a delight to watch in operation.  We have loaded a video of this mechanism in operation, please click on video link below.  Having never seen another one of these it has so many unique characteristics it is a must have for the serious collector.  The finish on the fan is a flat black and we are unsure if this is original or a later restoration attempt.  The brass has been polished in the past and displays nicely.  This fan runs on 220 volts.  The motor could benefit from a good detailed interior cleaning, there is a little bearing noise in the front and a good cleaning and lubrication may make it disappear.  I have run this fan for long periods of time here at the shop with no issues, just love to watch it run.  Here is your rare opportunity to own this incredible fan.
