Circa 1908 16" Western Electric Ball Motor DC Tripod Base Desk Fan. This Design Is Among One Of My Favorites. The Scale and Proportions On This Fan Makes It Very Striking From All Angles. It Features Many Key Design Elements From Fans Of The Early 1900's. This Example Has Been Painted At Some Point In The Past, It Has A Very Industrial Multi Level Finish Now. We Believe The Blade To Be Nickle Plated. A Very Rare Finish Option. One Other Striking Characteristic About This Fan Is The Wonderful Cast Brass Western Electric Cage Badge. This Example Retains Its Original Switch. The Fan Runs Strong On One Speed. Very Rare Collectible Fan.
