Porter No. 3 Bi-Polar Electric Motor by Kendrick & Davis of Lebanon N. H.
This small early bi-polar motor dates from near the turn of the century or a few years before. Kendrick & Davis of Lebanon N. H. offered this style motor in several different sizes. Later examples are typically marked K & D w/o the name and location spelled out. The larger models like this are hard to find. I have seen these motors with small fan blades mounted on them and this one at about 6" tall would be a good candidate for that application.
