Circa 1915 12" Western Electric 6 Blade Oscillating Desk Fan
Circa 1915 12" 6 Blade Western Electric Oscillating Desk Fan. This was Westinghouse's staple fan design for many years (Western Electric badged the Westinghouse fan). The design incorporated a stamped steel base facilitating easy transport and wall mounting. This fan is all original and the brass cage and blade display a beautiful patina with some oxidation. The fan retains its centrifugal start switch and runs as intended on all three speeds with a slight hesitation during oscillation. The the power cord and head wire replaced.
