Circa 1912 Jandus Electric Co. 8" Tab Base Desk Fan. Commonly found badged as a Dayton Type 22, this little seen variant was sold under the Jandus Electric Co. brand. Attached is an advertisement showing this same fan branded as an ECK utilizing the same style unmarked brass guard. Acquired from a small private fan collection, this example was acquired from a fellow collector several years ago and had been gracefully displayed in their home since. Original finish is in great condition for the age, we have cleaned and waxed to reveal its wonderful shine. We have disassembled and serviced this model upgrading the cloth cord with our period correct OTR+W product. Fan runs excellent on three distinct speeds. Very well made all cast iron fan rarely found in the Jandus variant.
