Stunning Professionally Restored Circa 1907 Western Electric Victor 16" Lollipop Windpowered Oscillating Desk Fan. The oscillating design is patented under No. 723994 (filed Oct. 15, 1902) and patented on March 31, 1903. This unique design of a wind powered oscillating mechanism has been nicknamed "Lollipop" amoung the collector community. Acquired this fan quite a number of years ago as part of a small collection in Ohio. When found, this example was in need of a full resotration which we have just completed. We are proud to offer such a stunning example of this seldom seen 16" model. All cast iron components were finished using "Top Shelf" automoive paint and prepped to perfection before applying the final finish. Pinstripes were applied by hand in vibrant gold leaf in keeping with the original finish. All brass componenets were professionally polished and lacquered for a lasting shine. Fan runs and looks like the day it left the factory.
