Circa 1897 Edison OO converter with original wood box. This Edison "C" frame converter is in excellent all-original condition. The original finish, featuring gold leaf pinstripes and signature, remains beautifully intact. This is a very rare converter, especially with its original box still preserved.  Meter test showed open contacts on the commutator.
