1904 12" GE Pancake Desk Fan "Malden Electric Co."
Just into our vast inventory is this wonderful 1904 12" GE Pancake that carries with it its own history. This fan was just purchased as part of a large collection in the New England States. This fan still bears its original Malden Electric Co Tag. Malden Electric Company was located in Malden Massachuettes they were a provider of energy for the greater Boston area in the early 1900's. This fan has been repainted at some point in its long history. I like the matte black finish as it doesn't overshadow the brass. The brass has a nice matte finish as well. This fan runs great on all 5 speeds. This is a real piece of early electric history and still has the badge to prove it.
