12" Emerson 19646 Desk Fan
12" Emerson Type 19646 Desk Fan. In the market for a good daily running fan that will even look great when not in use? This 12" Desk fan was Manufactured by Emerson Electric in 1914. This was a common residential fan during that time period and 114 years later, it is still running strong. This example still retains a nice original finish. The brass has been polished at some point in the past and could be lacquered to maintain a rich shine or let it age naturally. The head wire has been replaced with a thick rubber insulated wire at some point in the past as well. The fan has three positions on the switch but I don't notice any change in the speeds. With summer around the corner, this would make a wonderful air mover.
