Beautiful and Rare Specialty MFG. Co. 12" Water Fan. According To Specialty MFG. Co. Ads, This Fan Was Named "Triumph". The Highly Ornamental Motor Is Made Of Cast Brass. That Has Been Polished At Some Point. The 4 Footed Cast Iron Base Has A Gothic Pattern Embossed Around The Neck. The Base Is Also Embossed With The Patent Date of Aug. 11th 1898. Inside The Base Is The Hookup For Water To Exit The Turbine. There Is A Top Shaft Oiler That Appears To Be Missing Its Cap. The Back Cover Has An Unusual Nipple In The Center, Not Seen This On Another Model. Very Rare Fan, And Must For A Serious Collector.
