Very Rare 8" 1917 Menominee Light Socket Fan. To Our Knowledge This Is One Of Only 2 Known Examples. As Stated By Menominee, This Fan Is Of A Light Weight Design And Manufactured To Run On AC or DC Current. The Body Of This Fan Motor Is Made Of Light Weight Aluminum Paired With Nickle Plated Blades And Guard. This Example Is In Good Condition For Its Age. The Nickle Platted Blades Show Spots Of Oxidation. One Of The Cage Wires Is Broken And Missing A Small Section Where It Meets The Back Ring. One "S" Wire Has Been Soldered Where It Meets The Center Ring. Fan Body Is In Excellent Condition Showing Some Oxidation From Age. A Very Unusual And Rare Fan.
