Restored 1904 General Electric GE Pancake Fan.  This beautiful restoration was done by Kim Frank (Mr. Pancake) and is an example of his magnificent work.  This was one of his early restorations and was purchased several years ago when he had started narrowing his focus on GE Pancakes which he is now known for his expertise.  The paint is beautiful and rich!!!  The brass has a beautiful patina with a nice gloss shine to the rich color.  The rotor of the fan has been painted and polished.  The stator, switch, coil and many other components appear to be 100% original to the fan.  It is simply an item of beauty done by the master in his beginning.  Fan runs strong on high and slows to a gentle low through the 5 speeds.  All the cage wires have been reinforced where they enter the back ring, this appears to have been done for stability purposes only.  The price of this fan is less than what you could obtain one of his restorations for today!!
