Original 1916 12" Colonial Front Oscillator.  This is an excellent original example of a desirable brass blade/brass cage Colonial Front Oscillator desk fan.  This was the only desk fan to incorporate a front motor mounted oscillator gear box.  It is a very unique design and this is an excellent example.  The original paint has been cleaned and waxed.  The braided head wire may be original, it appears to be in excellent condition.  The power cord has been updated with cloth covered twisted wire as would have been used when new.  This fan runs and oscillates on three speeds that are controlled by the slide switch on the base.
