Circa 1930's Gilbert 10" Oscillating Desk Fan Cat. A33. This Uniquely Styled Desk Fan Was Executed By The Gilbert Company In The Mid 30's. The Design Features A Stamped Steel Base And Motor Housing. The Pivot Neck Is Made Of Cast Metal Finished In A Chrome Plate. This Neck Has A Very Unique Form Of Adjustment. The Knurled Screw Located At The Back Of The Neck When Turned Walks Its Way Through The Teeth Attached To The Motor Half Tilting The Fan Forward Or Backwards. There Is An Off And On Toggle Switch Located On The Back Half Of The Motor Housing. The Small Scale Of This Fan Make It The Perfect Bookshelf Decorative Accessory That Will Also Produce A Gentle Breeze If Desired.
