Circa 1920's Safety Car Company 32 Volt DC Desk Fan. This Fan Was Designed and Sold For Ventilation In Rail Cars During the 20's and 30's. This Is A Very Rare Desk Model. The Finish Has Been Professionally Restored Back To the Original (As Best Could Be Seen) Color and Pinstripe Design. The Color Is A Rich Pearl White with Gold Leaf Hand Painted Pinstripes. The 12" 6 Brass Blades and Guard Were Polished To A Bright Mirror Finish. The Cast Iron Base Features Extended Legs For Better Stability and An Off and On Slide Switch. The Guard Features A Beautiful Cast Brass Safety Can Logo Badge. A Very Unique and Rare Fan. Several Years Ago, An Episode of American Pickers Featured a Safety Car Co. Column Fan.
