Circa 1919 Hunter Electric 8" All Brass Desk Fan. By Sourcing 98% Of The Necessary Parts From GE, Hunter Was Able To Bring To Market An 8" All Brass Fan For The Residential Market. This Example Appears To Have Been Polished At Some Point And Was Possibly Gun Metal Blue Prior. The Brass Has Started To Develop Patina And Will Color Nicely Over Time. The Brass Motor Housing Has Suffered From A Very Common Issue, Stress Cracks. This Housing Could Be Swapped From A More Common GE Parts Fan. Heard Wire Appears Original And In Good Condition. The Power Cord Has Been Changed To A Newer Vintage Style Twisted Cloth Cord. Fan Runs Well On All 3 Speeds. The Blade Would Run Smoother With Some Balancing Overall A Nice Example Of A Rarely Seen Fan.
