Phil Frey (1942-2012) Was Termed "The Fan Man" By The Daily Oklahoman And Orbit Magazine. Phil Was A Resident Of Oklahoma City Where He Turned His Hobby Of Restoring Ceiling Fans Into A Successful Business For More Than Thirty Years. Phil Restored This Emerson CF20 And Hopped It Up. This Beautiful Fan Was Even Featured In The Fan Collectors Magazine, Article Is Shown In The Pictures. This Was Originally A 2 Blade Ceiling Fan. Phil Adapted A Bracket To Convert It To A 6 Blade Version. The Conversion Ring Uses Westinghouse DC Blade Irons. This Very Ingenious Idea Make For A Beautiful Never Produced CF20. The Design Was Certainly Inspired By Emerson CF28-CF30 Models. All Brass Components Wore Polished And Lacquered. The Pull Chain Switch Is A More Modern Version And Is Enclosed Inside Possibly The Original Cover. The Ceiling Canopy Is A Recast Version And Shows Age. Very Unique Fan With A Rich Fan Collecting History.
