This Little 9" Diehl Has Every Detail You Have Come to Love With An Early Electric Fan. The Squatty Cast Iron Ornate Base Is So Perfect For Desk Application or Wall Mounting. The Neck Can Be Tilted and Locked For Wall Mounting. The Yoke Is Very Solid And Beefy Which Flows So Nicely With The Rest of The Fan. The Brush Motor Is Very Simplistic Yet Solid. This Example Features Diehl's Most Unique Strut Design Ever. The Bends Made to The Square Stock To Produce This Strut Had to Be A Real Manufacturing Challenge. This Fan Was Most Likely Used On A Rail Car or With a Farm/Battery Setup That Would Have Been Recharged Using a Windmill. A Very Rare And Desirable Fan.
