8" Dayton Type 22 Brass Bladed / Cage Desk Fan.  This very desirable Dayton type 22 came from the estate of long time fan collector Stan Good of Tampa Fl.  Stan was one of the first group of members of the AFCA and had collected for over 40 years.  His personal collection consisted of well over 1000 fans and his love for the hobby was like not other.  The fan is in great mechanical condition and is ready to be used if desired or displays nicely in a collection.  The blade has been expertly balanced by Paul Graves at Times Past Fans.  The fan runs perfectly on 80 volts ac, the motor tag is marked 220v but the motor may have been rewound at some point to a lesser voltage based on its application.  The brass guard is free of breaks or repairs but could use a little "tightening up".  Really great little desk size fan.
