This is the highest quality 3 conductor #18 gauge cloth covered wire on the market.  Each of the 3 conductors is made up of many strands of copper and is insulated in a very soft black rubber, the combination makes this wire very soft and supple.  This is perfect for stationary or oscillating fans that require a 3 conductor head wire.  All of our wire is crafted with pride in the USA.

The 18-3 cloth covered wire from AntiqueFanParts is the most authentic that I have been able to find. There is another 18-3 cloth type that comes close from a competitor, but it’s not authentic and hard to work with. The wire from Antique Fan Parts is the best, trust me on that.

Authentic-looking wire

I grabbed a few feet of this wire for replacing frayed head wires on old Emerson fans. It looks almost exactly like the original head wire -a very close match!
